4DAYS - MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARK SAFARI - KAMPALA
Day 1: Transfer from Kampala to Murchison Falls National Park
Start your 4 days safari with a briefing from the driver guide. You will then start your 5-hour journey to Murchison falls. Enjoy the scenic drive through the beautiful country side past the famous Luwero Triangle and Masindi town. You will have a stopover in Masindi town for lunch then after continue to Murchison falls arriving in the afternoon. Check-in at the Lodge, and later relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
Dinner and overnight stay at Fort Murchison Lodge.
Day 2: Murchison Falls Game Drive and Nile Cruise
Wake up early for your breakfast and thereafter proceed to the wilderness in search of the early morning raisers, the morning game drive starts at about 6:30am. Catch up with the predators and early risers like; herds of buffaloes, Uganda kob, baboons, elephant, hyenas, jackals, giraffe, velvet monkeys, antelope, lion, warthogs and so many others. You will also encounter different types of birds during the game drive. After the game drive, you will transfer to your lodge to rest as you wait to have your lunch. After lunch you will go for a boat cruise at the Victoria Nile to the base of the falls. This cruise is spectacular as it allows you to get up close to the aquatic animals such as; the hippos, crocodiles, waterbucks, buffalos, elephants etc. Among the birds commonly cited on the boat cruise include the goliath heron, king fisher, weaver birds, bee eater, cattle egrets and the beautiful scenery along the bank.

Day 3: Top of the falls and Chimpanzee Trekking
Wake up early for your breakfast and thereafter proceed to Budongo Forest Reserve for Chimpanzee trekking. Spend the morning tracking and abserving chimpanzees in their natural habitat, indeed it is a privilege to watch them in their natural habitat as they eat, play and protect the young.
In the afternoon, the safari will continue at the top of the falls, you will enjoy the powerful Nile as it squeezes through the narrow 7 meter gorge, crushing down 42 feet below, producing splashes of water which rises up 10 meters high, it’s such a spectacle to watch the power of nature.

Day 4: Rhino Tracking and Departure
Have an early morning breakfast and check-out from the lodge. Drive to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, the only place in Uganda where you can track some of the endangered Rhino species on foot. Enjoy a guided rhino tracking experience. After the rhino tracking, have lunch at the sanctuary and continue drive back to Kampala/Entebbe International Airport for your flight out later in the evening.
This day is reserved for evening flights through Entebbe International Aiport or a post-night to be organized either in Kampala or Entebbe. You can request a postnight in advance.
